 From Cassville,follow The Great River Road by continue north on Cty. VV, then west on Cty. V down the hill into Glen Haven.
This secluded village displays nature at its' best with the beautiful scenery. Early history describes Glen Haven as a very active livestock collection point for farmers to load their animals on the train bound for the stockyards in Chicago. Two establishments serve daily specials, post office, bank, two B/B's and well kept lawns and gardens are along the way as you drive to the river's edge. Coming in by boat, the US Corp of Engineers has built a very nice boat landing with docking facilities. Please use safety precautions and watch for the trains to pass. If on schedule, they will pass every twenty minutes.

When leaving Glen Haven to continue on to Bagley, follow Cty V east, up the hill to the second intersection Cty VV NORTH,( The Great River Road) turn left and drive to Cty A. Turn left and follow Cty A into Bagley.
From Bagley, follow Cty. X north to the village of Wyalusing where youŽll find a nice sand swimming beach along the river. Continue on Cty. X north two miles to Wyalusing State Park. Open all year, the park stands atop the high bluffs at the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers, where in 1673 Father Jacques Marquette and Louis Jolliet discovered the Upper Mississippi. Hike Sentinel Ridge Trail to see ancient Indian mounds, deer and wild turkeys. The park has scenic campgrounds, picnic areas and hiking trails. A marked canoe trail winds through the Mississippi River backwaters. From the park, follow Cty. C northeast to Hwy. 18/35.
While on Cty C, you will pass over the commemorative bridge built by the state of Wisconsin to honor The Great River Road.
