Directions: From I-90, take Exit #3 (La Crosse, Rose Street). At stoplight, turn right onto Rose Street. Follow Rose Street into downtown La Crosse (road turns in Copeland Ave). At stoplight on corner of La Crosse & Copeland, follow road to the right. Road now reads 3rd Street (one way). Follow 3rd Street to State Street. Turn right. Road goes into Riverside Park where boat is docked.

Though not traditionally a canoeing river due to its varied currents and heavy commercial traffic, the river includes two canoe trails in the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge - La Crosse District. Maps to both the Long Lake Canoe Trail near Trempealeau and the Goose Island Canoe Trail near La Crosse are available by calling the La Crosse District Headquarters.

Financing, boat repairs, shrink wrapping & winterization.Stop in at the bar on the back channel on your way by & enjoy beer & pizza, & a great view.
Directions: As you leave Lock & Dam #3, head your boat south 2-3 miles. Stay left into Wisconsin Channel & to the marina.

700 acre park originally from the estate of WISCONSIN'S FIRST GOVERNOR, Nelson Dewey. Scenic overlook, Indian mounds, picnicking, camping, hiking.
Directions: Heading west out of Cassville on Hwy 133, turn left on Cty VV (The Great River Road, travel 1/2 - 3/4 mile past The Dewey Home to parking lot on right which is the entrance to the park. Stonefield Village, a creation of yesteryear, is on the left. Please use caution crossing the railroad tracks, if on schedule, trains may pass every twenty minutes.
